Is the COVID-19 Vaccine the mark of the Beast? This is a hotly debated topic among Christians, and it’s crucial to provide clarification on the issue to help the body of Christ attain a proper understanding. Let’s begin by reviewing the facts on a granular level prior to analyzing scripture for answers. In 2019, SARS-CoV-2 began spreading in China and within a short period of time, it reached all countries around the world. The origin and spread of the virus are in it of itself controversial, so we’ll concentrate on the spiritual matter solely. The reaction to the virus and the implementation of draconian measures dictated by the United Nations, World Health Organization is the issue at hand. Their policies have been implemented by almost all countries and it serves to limited personal liberties and mobility in the name of public health. It’s impacted employment, education, and everyday activities. People feel as if their rights have been yanked and everyone has been subject to quarantining, even the healthy. Employees and students alike have been asked to work remotely, and many are forced to undergo a weekly invasive nasal testing. Students and employees alike are asked to wear a mask throughout the whole day in schools and the workplace, which severely limit oxygen levels.
Once the COVID-19 vaccine became available to the public in early 2021, governments around the world have made it a mandatory policy. Those that resist the vaccine are being ostracized and segregated from society. Their ability to participate in daily routine activities and even the right to work have been limited or prevented, unless they receive the vaccine. So, when Christians witness a policy that prevents them from “buying or selling and earning a living” unless they receive the “mark” (vaccine), it’s understandable why they would resort to such conclusions. Illuminating Faith has analyzed the matter thoroughly, and we believe that although there are eerie similarities between the mark and the vaccine, it fortunately is not the anticipated mark of the beast. In order for the mark of the beast to be implement, the beast must first be revealed, which is the anti-Christ

The beast cannot be revealed unless the Church is raptured by Christ.
Let’s look at the Book of Revelation 13:15-18 in the New Testament to obtain our answers. Here is what John the Beloved wrote as he witnessed this magnificent revelation by God regarding the beasts and the mark.
15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has [a]the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.
The book of Revelation is clear on the topic of the mark, there is a sequence that must be adhered to; beast followed by the mark of the beast. When we look at the whole chapter, especially in the beginning of chapter 13, we can see the mention of two beasts: one arising from the sea and the other that emerges from the earth. The beast that emerges from the sea signifies a leader who will come from the world, among the nations, the one who is to come out from a political system. Illuminating Faith interprets the political system as the New World Order (NWO). This is a global system that does not recognize nationalism, religion, or ethnicity. It’s an anti-God, anti-human system based on corporate consumerism with a spirit of total dominance. In our previous article we speak about the first instance of globalism and the NWO when we wrote about the Transforming Negative Circumstances Into Outcomes That Glorify God. The NWO has been mentioned frequently in the past 30 years, and the most profound statement came from the US President George H. Bush in his infamous speech to the House of Representatives on September 11, 1991 . There are more details to the first beast which speaks about seven heads and ten horns, and most interpret the ten horns as the current European Union, as this was specifically attributed to the ten barbarian tribes and the rise of the papacy. Furthermore, the beast that comes forth from the earth is the false prophet. Satan is an imitator and a liar; his goal is to imitate God’s Holy Trinity with a perverted version that consists of Satan, anti-Christ and the false prophet.
Thus, the mention of the mark does not occur until the revelation of both the anti-Christ and the false prophet. Therefore, the vaccine cannot be the mark; however, we strongly believe that this is a major dress rehearsal for the implementation of the mark. Due to the nature of the vaccine policy – being worldwide, all governments submitting to the global government and punishment for those that don’t receive the vaccine is a step closer to the mark. What this means is that the second coming of Christ is very close and we should be aware and prepared for His coming. We must work tirelessly on evangelism and improving our witness. There should be a massive repentance and concentration on Christ during these last days. Although, we won’t be commenting on whether you should or shouldn’t accept the vaccine, however, we are completely convinced that this is a test run of the actual mark that will be implemented as soon as the Church is raptured and the beast is ushered onto the world stage.
