The stage is set, world government is in place, targets established, and the agenda initiated.  No, this is not the beginning of a dystopian novel, this is 2021, and we are living in unprecedented times.  Our article, Coming Persecution of Christians in America is what Illuminating Faith believes is the article that must be shared by all Bible believing Christians as a warning for Satan’s advancement on believers in the U.S and other Western countries. This strategic and well-planned persecution of Christians is intended to suppress the only entity that is the anthesis to the Satanic global order.  During the Revolutionary War of 1776, Benjamin Franklin proposed the phrase, “Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God.”  The Founding Fathers understood how governments operate and the need to place checks and balances to prevent dictatorial regimes from emerging.  Furthermore, most of them were staunch believers that understood Satan’s dominance of this world and how his (Satan’s) anti-God agenda is enacted through world leaders and the unsaved.   Several examples attest to this fact, however the one that best illustrates Satan’s control over governments is presented in Matthew chapter 4, verses 8-9:

8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”  The logic is simple, you can’t give something that you don’t own, and Christ did not challenge this statement as false, because Satan is the ruler of this world.

There are two additional examples as state by Paul the Apostle in Ephesians 6:12 and Ephesians 2:2-3 which attest to Satan’s authority:

Ephesians 6:12,

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [a]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 2:2-3,

in which you once walked according to the [a]course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

As you can see, his authority is well entrenched and the wicked/unsaved execute his agenda.  We must thoroughly understand this truth and fully execute our responsibility as the Salt and Light (Matthew 5:13-16) which means that we must withstand and counter the advancement of the enemy.  As Christians, it’s our duty to be the ambassador of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20) and represent the Lord in all facets of life.  The ultimate goal of a Christian is to represent Christ and to preach the Gospel of Salvation in this period known as the Dispensation of Grace.  Satan fully understands that Dispensation of Grace which is also known as the Church Age is quickly coming to an end.  Christians (true believers) will be caught up in the air to meet the Lord Jesus Christ in what is known as the pre-tribulation rapture.  Satan has already established the global government or the one world order, and people have been made to believe only conspiracy theorists, aka “nut jobs” speak about this one government.  Each proceeding generation is less capable intellectually (which is done by design – global degradation of education) to think critically, therefore easily managed.  The world is suffering of apathy, complacency, and narcissism.  People are preoccupied with themselves, and care less for the rapid demise of humanity, and the march to tyranny.  If this article was written 30 to 40 years ago, people would either think this was in reference to a 3rd world country, or a dystopian novel, 1984.  However, this is very real, and it’s come home to America and the West.

Even though the situation may seem bleak, we must fully comprehend that God is still in control. Paul states in Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.   So, some may be thinking, this sounds contradictory.   How is both God and Satan in control?  The answer is that the Lord allows for governments to rise based on the hearts of people.   When a society becomes corrupt and they choose to rebel against God, God allows for evil governments to rise and enslave the people.  An example of this occurrence is outlined in Isaiah 3:1-12.  In these verses, it speaks about the crumbling of society due to wickedness and corrupt leadership.  The remedy to this spiritual illness is stated in 2 Chronicles 7:14, (God states) 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Therefore, when society turns away from their sins, repents and receives the Lord, God will heal the country.

It’s evident that the path to destruction that mankind is on seems irreversible because we are living in prophetic times and what is written by the prophets and in the book of Revelation is coming to fruition.  There will be an anti-Christ that will rise to power through a world government who will reign for 7 years in the great tribulation.  Ultimately, Christ is returning, and He will establish His millennial reign and establish a true theocracy on earth.  As such, Christians in America and the West must continue to represent Christ and stand firmly against tyranny (Satanic order).  As children of God (those of us who are saved) we must stand firm in our faith, and through the Glorious Resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are endowed with power over sin.  Christ has died for our sins and whoever receives the Lord, receives the Holy Spirit.   Not only do we have authority over sin through Jesus, but we also have authority over Satan as well.  James 4:7, states,  7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.  Therefore, we must go back to the fundamentals of the faith to realize the mission, it’s objective and how we should prepare ourselves for the coming persecution, as well as the work that we must enacted.

The message here is not to run to the hills, but to reaffirm our faith in Jesus Christ, strengthen our faith, put on the full armor of God (Ephesians chapter 6:10-18) and prepare to work as a community to help each other.  We are not called to retreat, therefore, until the rapture, we must continue to be the Salt and Light.  Be warned about the coming hardships, pray to the Lord to be ready and continue to share the Gospel of Salvation.  Jesus is Lord and He has already prevailed.  AMEN.

If you don’t already have relationship with the Lord and want to receive Jesus as your Savior, please pray this prayer: Lord Jesus I know that I am sinner and I ask you forgive me of my sins.  I believe that you were crucified for my sins and through your blood I have redemption and salvation.  Please come into my heart and I receive you as my God.  I pray in Jesus name. AMEN
